When you book we will take a payment via paypal to firstname.lastname@example.org
or via bank transfer (email for details)
Courses are for one day, usually starting from 10am until about 3pm with a short break for lunch, and include all materials along with refreshments and cake! (Lunch not included)
Notes to think about before you book.
Access to the workshop part of the boat is over a small deck, down three stairs and along a short corridor.
The cosy and intimate atmosphere aboard is one of the course’s attractions but please contact me if you have concerns about space, access or facilities on the boat. The boat has running water and its own private bathroom. It is kept warm in the colder months with a solid fuel stove. We aim to make you very comfortable. Hot / cold drinks, cake and biscuits will be offered. All instruction tools and all materials are included in the price.
Working with silver can be a grubby job, especially polishing! We have aprons, barrier cream and a supply of medical gloves but be prepared to get your hands a bit dirty! Long hair and loose clothing will need to kept under control and open shoes are best avoided. We have aprons and eye protection for your use, if required.
Most of the teaching sessions involve a certain amount of practice in copper before setting to work on the silver – again, you will be supported through this stage.
