More details about your day on board.
The narrowboat is usually moored at the end of a long grass garden. It might be wet underfoot. The boat has had some modifications to accommodate silver jewellery workshops, although it still has its well appointed bathroom and kitchen. Being a boat, it does move around a little.
Being 7 feet wide, it can be a rather “cosy” space when several people are on board. There are hooks for coats and bags.
Jewellery making is a very satisfying hobby but it can be messy and you will get your hands dirty! Long hair, scarves and ties need to be kept out of the way. Shoes should cover your feet if you are working with hot metal.
All materials, tools and instruction are included in the price. We provide aprons, gloves, eye protection and dust masks.
You will be offered light refreshments during the day but please bring your own lunch. Please inform me of any special dietary needs thank you.
